Blue Hair Dye Over Faded Red
Red Dye Over Faded Blue Hair.
Blue hair dye over faded red. My best bet is to completly bleach out the underlaying color and it will be perfect. Chunks of these three colours also look good together. Red dye over teal hair or red dye over blue hair may give you some brownish color.
Now take the blue shade and draw over the red. Ive been dying my hair by myself for years Im not great at it but its always something Ive had fun with. This contributes to the color fade.
Using red dye over a very light faded greenish blue hair. If your hair still has some traces of red you should wait several more weeks or shampoos so that every trace of red disappears. I actually just did the same thing to my hair last night i had blue all over my hair but it was very faded and i put a red over it and it turned more of a dark fushia color rather than a red it still looks red in some lighting but if you out in the sun it usually looks pinkinsh red but it is still pretty.
Kinda stopped touching it during the pandemic but my sisters wedding is next week. Ive used cosmic blue over red before when I was about 15 or so but it had faded out a LOT by that point so it was more of an orangey brown. Take a crayon in the same general shade of red as the hair you describe.
This is the shade you MIGHT get. You could also try yellow green blue or blue violet red. The fading red hair needs to be stripped of THAT color ie.
Because permanent hair dye changes the structure of your hair the only way to remove it is with bleach. However I strongly recommend Avedas color-depositing shampoos in Madder Root or Loreals Color Depositing Shampoo in Red Clover to use as your every day or every-other-day shampoo. It worked fine though.
